Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. Updates Ordnance Systems JAU-22/B First Production to the United States Navy September 15, 2010 - Business Wire
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bulova Technologies Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BLVT) ("BulovaTech" or "the Company") announced today that the United States Navy has accepted the initial delivery of JAU-22/B Cartridge Actuated Initiator. The JAU-22/B Initiators are being delivered to the U.S. Navy by BLVT from its Ordnance Systems facility located in Mayo, FL. The JAU-22/B team is currently under contract to deliver 170,000 units with production to continue at the Mayo, FL facility for one year. The U.S. Navy is currently evaluating the Company's proposal for new production of up to an additional 250,000 units, estimated at over $5,000,000.
The JAU-22/B Cartridge Actuated Initiators are used with the CCU-107/B, chaff ejection in the LAU-133/A and sonobuoy deployment.
